With a strong faith and having been equipped by God with compassion and capacity, the everyday challenges of rescue seem just a little bit easier to conquer. On this site, you will read about my life's mission in rescue and how God continues to "rescue the rescuer".

Discounted, disregarded and discarded..... that's a common theme that runs through the past 29 years of life in rescue. Perhaps you've heard the phrases "turn that frown upside down" and "make lemonade out of lemons". Literally speaking that's what we do. Just like we humans, animals are not perfect, thus for a variety of reasons they end up in shelters or rescues like ours. Beyond the second of their arrival their fate is in our hands....creatures totally dependent on us. It's a quest to give them hope and help them find happiness and the added benefit is the smile on a family's face that acquires a new four legged family member.
Every single day is a new chapter for someone. Making a difference in the world is very fulfilling and rewarding. Although at times it's difficult to see the forest for the trees. Yet, we forge on believing that life will be better. hat drives me and gives me hope to share with another is the grace granted me by God. When times are lean and bleak a blessing seems to fall from the sky. Funds we didn't appeal for or logistics that seemed nearly impossible were provided at just the right moment.
As in my personal life, God is always ever present and working behind the scenes in my rescue life. It's an amazing partnership and a real WIN!
But wait, there's so much more. If we stop learning, we are dead. So many opportunities of growth, success, happiness and yes, even the potential for failure to learn from are all available to us through a spiritual walk with God. We just need to let Him be our teacher and guide....the ONE who has pulled me out of some very messy situations.
So how could I not share that? How could this not give hope? God will never discount us, He will never disregard us and surely we will not be discarded.
